LASTCALL, is a personal project as well as an open project which was born as a reflection of many hours spent at airports waiting to fly out. It is a reflection about the use of the new public spaces. LastCall analyzes how limitis between public and private space disappear in an airport terminal, using the photo language.
Destination Berlin is a a group show that reveals six individual glances and expressions on the theme of identity, through a common platform: the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunion of the German city. The exhibition shows the work of 6 international artists: Jacqueline Kooter, (Amsterdam), Shirley Wiebe (Canada), Susana López F. (Gijón), Thea Jentjes (Amsterdam), Wai Kit Lam (Hong Kong) and Wai Yi Lai (Hong Kong).
Over the last weeks we have met each one of the artists who take part in Destination Berlin through some photos have been taken for this special edition, Letzter Aufruf. Destination Berlin, 2012.
One again, as usual in this trip, Photoarte Komite will join us.

Kai Tak Airport (IATA: HKG, ICAO: VHHH)
Kai Tak Airport (IATA: HKG, ICAO: VHHH) was the international airport of Hong Kong from 1925 until 1998. It was officially known as the Hong Kong International Airport from 1954 to 6 July 1998, when it was closed and replaced by the new Hong Kong International Airport. It is often known as Hong Kong Kai Tak International Airport, or simply Kai Tak, to distinguish it from its successor which is often referred to as Chek Lap Kok Airport.

With numerous skyscrapers and mountains located to the north and its only runway jutting out into Victoria Harbour, landings at the airport were dramatic to experience and technically demanding for pilots. The History Channel program Most Extreme Airports ranked it as the 6th most dangerous airport in the world.

Hong Kong International Airport (IATA: HKG, ICAO: VHHH) is the main airport in Hong Kong. It is colloquially known as Chek Lap Kok Airport (赤鱲角機場), being built on the island of Chep Lap Kok by land reclamation, and also to distinguish it from its predecessor, the closed Kai Tak Airport.
The airport opened for commercial operations in 1998, replacing Kai Tak, and is an important regional trans-shipment centre, passenger hub and gateway for destinations in Mainland China (with over 40 destinations) and the rest of Asia.
